In 2022, weary of two years of a deadly pandemic, moviegoers have begun to timidly step into the theatrical movie experience. And while the picks may have been a little slimmer than they were in the pre-pandemic years, from the usual blockbuster superhero movies in the Marvel and DC Cinematic Universes to the quirky indie features and surprise gems on Netflix, there’s still plenty to do. There were many mouth-watering options.
With the exception of the final “Best of the Year” poll, we’ve chosen an unranked list again, so you can explore different genres and options to add surprises to your final watchlist. As always, visit the comments and add your own suggestions for movies coming out in 2022.

Don’t read the trailer, don’t read the synopsis, just watch this movie.
This was the advice I got before watching this year’s hottest horror movie savage, and I’m glad I took it. This is the advice I would like to give to everyone reading this. Stream now on HBO Max.
But for those who need a little more convincing, here’s the simplest introduction. and it is already occupied. She decided to stay the night anyway. Things get weird. Then they get weird.
That’s about all I’m about to give up on here. While watching, I had no idea where the movie was going next, but I think that’s the best way to experience it. savage is one of the best wild ride horror romps to enjoy with friends who are equally new.
Sure, there’s a fair amount of chills and thrills to this movie, but it’s also Hilarious— it gave me the biggest, most genuine belly laugh of any movie I’ve seen all year. If you’re looking for , look no further.

Batman
Batman A DC Comics movie for those who watch too many movies. Directed and co-written by Matt Reeves (war for the planet of the apes) crafted an intoxicating mix of indulgence, pulp, bombshell, and vulnerability that perfectly answers the question of why the world needs another Batman movie.lighthouse) revives an otherwise grounded role. Better than Michael Keaton? Oops, it’s a coin toss. Best Batman actor since Keaton. Absolutely.
What Reeves is really interested in is showing us a very different kind of Bruce Wayne from other films. While other Batman actors shrugged off the weirdness of the masked vigilante-turned-rich man, Pattinson convincingly struggles with his inherited privilege — making Wayne. more As a result, they are likable and empathetic.
Not a perfect Batman movie. Before Reeves and Pattinson settle for a vengeful Batusi dance, they have to put up with about 15 minutes of aggressive, stark dark tones. And Reeves completely loses control of the Batmobile by the end of the film. But I don’t know if it’s a “producer’s cut”. Batman At its most extravagant tendencies, this would be a better movie, and kudos to DC for letting Reeves go wild. Batman is once again compelling and tangible, just as he was when he reimagined the character in the wake of the big TV series.
