Citizen CZ Smart Sport and CZ Smart Casual

Citizen unveiled two new Google WearOS smartwatches at CES 2023, the CZ Smart Sport and CZ Smart Casual. They are distinguished by case size and design. Both come with his new wellness app called YouQ, which incorporates research on wakefulness and fatigue from NASA, and feeds it into his AI in IBM Watson Studio to learn how your body is functioning. It helps you understand who you are.
The Sport model has a 44mm case and bold bezels around the 1.28-inch AMOLED screen. This bezel is also shared by the Casual model, but housed in his 41 mm case with a more discreet design. Both smartwatches have a heart rate sensor on the back that also measures blood oxygen levels, a Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor, and a 24-hour battery. Prices start at $350 and both he will be available in March.
Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Wellness Edition

The new 6th Gen Hybrid Wellness Edition continues Fossil’s use of an e-ink screen and physical clock hands in its hybrid smartwatches, offering the best of both worlds. E-ink consumes very little power, so you can expect 2 weeks of battery life. The physical hands give it a very watch-like look and you can always see the time.
The smartwatch has a case size of 44mm and is available in multiple styles, including stainless steel finish, black IP, and gold finish. The Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid Wellness Edition has a heart rate sensor, blood oxygen monitoring, automatic workout detection and various fitness tracking features. Fossil has yet to reveal pricing.
Movano Evie

Movano first showed off its women’s smart ring at CES 2022, but didn’t reveal any details at the time. At CES 2023, Movano named the ring her Evie, and she detailed her pursuit of Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval. She also confirmed that the ring will be priced at $300 when she launches in 2023. The Evie ring measures heart rate, blood oxygen level and skin temperature via sensors.
It is hoped that FDA approval will be obtained before the smart ring is released. This is because Movano’s Evie ring is not only desirable, but it will be a rarity in the consumer wearable space, so it means it will meet the accuracy standards set. We also saw split designs to ensure that the ring was always comfortable to wear, even with swollen fingers. Movano expects his Evie ring to be released in his first six months of 2023.
