Google is facing a new antitrust lawsuit from the U.S. Department of Justice, which alleges that the Silicon Valley firm has raised the cost of Internet users in an effort to monopolize the digital advertising technology industry.
“This case is very important because advertising is the currency of the internet and will determine the future trajectory of the digital economy,” said Elettra Bietti of New York University.
