Tecno has launched a new mobile phone called Pop 7 Pro in the African market. Retailers in Nigeria and Uganda are already selling phones, although the company seems to have forgotten to officially announce it or even add it to its website.
The Pop 7 Pro is a very affordable phone powered by the Helio A22 chipset. In fact, it is already available as Spark Go 2023 in other markets.
The Pop 7 Pro features a 6.6-inch LCD with 720p resolution and 20:9 portrait orientation. It runs Android 12 with HiOS 12 on top, and a large island on the back houses a 13MP main camera and a QVGA depth sensor, while the selfie shooter houses his 5MP sensor.
The phone comes with a 5,000 mAh battery and 10 W charging through the USB-C port. Tecno offers the Pop 7 Pro with 64GB of storage and 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Prices in Nigeria start at NRN 64,000, which is around $140.
