TCL Moveaudio Neo features both ANC for listening to music and ambient noise cancellation for voice calls. ANC reduces noise by up to 28dB. A transparent mode is also available in case you need to hear the environment.
Neo Buds support Google’s Fast Pair, so pairing with modern Android phones is as easy as opening the case and tapping the on-screen pair button.
The buds have 10mm drivers and touch controls, plus four equalizer modes. Each bud weighs 4.5g and is rated IP54, so rain and dirt will never be a problem. The weight of the case is 41g. One of the major missing components is a high quality audio codec.
The buds can play continuously for up to 7 hours, giving a total listening time of 40 hours including the case. Charging is via USB-C and is fairly quick, with 10 minutes being enough for 100 minutes of playback.
The TCL Moveaudio Neo is priced at $50. For comparison, the S600 is $100 and the S180 (with ANC) is typically $80, but at the time of writing there are significant discounts. However, the S180 has a short battery life (30 hours) and no fast pairing.
TCL Linkzone 4G and 5G Hotspot
