Back in February, we saw the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro in a rough CAD-based render and then again in the rumored ‘hero color’, deep red. Today, the same source of previous renders is back with even more. These are more sophisticated and dare I say higher quality. So, here are our best looks at Apple’s next high-end smartphone (which is likely to come out in September).
The iPhone 15 Pro features a titanium frame and rounded edge design, which we hope will dispel user concerns about the current model and sharp edges.
The size of the individual camera bumps has increased again, making the overall bump thicker. Interestingly, the iPhone 15 Pro Max also has a smaller camera bump and is rumored to have a periscope zoom lens. According to past rumors, the iPhone 15 Pro’s camera features “all-new sensor technology that captures more light and reduces over- or underexposure at certain settings.”
All iPhone 15 models will have a USB-C port, but the fastest charging is limited to USB-C cables certified by Apple.
The volume and mute buttons are haptic rather than physical, with two haptic engines dedicated to emulating button presses. The mute toggle is now a tactile button instead of a slide switch.
The iPhone 15 Pro’s bezels are just 1.55mm on all sides, and the screen glass has a subtle curvature that transitions seamlessly to the titanium frame, as does the back glass.
Thin bezels make the iPhone 15 Pro slightly narrower than its predecessor, as the screen size remains the same. It measures 8.24 mm.
In addition to the “Hero” crimson color, the phone is said to come in white, space black, and gold.
