Integral and Verdi Partner to Strengthen Chemical Risk and Safety Management in the EV Supply Chain
A new partnership between Integral Consulting and Verdi Technology integrates scientific expertise with advanced data analytics to help EV and battery manufacturers improve chemical safety, compliance, and sustainability across the value chain.
Integral Consulting Inc. and Verdi Technology Inc. have formed a strategic partnership to improve chemical safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability practices across the electric vehicle (EV) and lithium-battery value chain.
The collaboration combines Integral Consulting’s scientific expertise in toxicology, industrial hygiene, and risk assessment with Verdi Technology’s data analytics and management platform. Together, the companies aim to help manufacturers identify, assess, and mitigate chemical and occupational health risks through advanced data integration and predictive modeling.
As global electrification accelerates, the production and recycling of lithium batteries pose complex challenges related to chemical exposure, waste handling, and environmental protection. The Integral–Verdi partnership seeks to bridge these gaps by transforming raw environmental and safety data into actionable insights that promote responsible operations and regulatory compliance.
“Battery and EV manufacturers are advancing innovation at an incredible pace, and their environmental health and safety systems must evolve to match,” said Dr. M. Andrew Maier, principal toxicologist at Integral Consulting. “By combining multidisciplinary science with real-time analytics, we can give companies a defensible, transparent way to manage complex chemical processes while advancing sustainability goals.”
Through Verdi’s configurable platform, clients will be able to centralize data on chemical inventories, exposure monitoring, and regulatory reporting. The system integrates with existing EHS and ESG frameworks to streamline compliance with evolving standards in both the U.S. and international markets.
Verdi Technology, based in Reno, Nevada, provides configurable data management and analytics tools designed for hazardous and regulated industries. Its webOSCAR platform supports chemical tracking, environmental monitoring, and sustainability reporting for clients in energy, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
Integral Consulting brings decades of expertise in environmental science, toxicology, and public health to support industry clients in designing safer, more sustainable chemical management systems.
“The future of clean energy depends not only on innovation, but on responsible stewardship,” Maier added. “This partnership allows us to align technology, science, and sustainability to protect workers, communities, and the environment.”
