Samsung and Qualcomm have signed a deal and the upcoming Galaxy S23 series will use a dedicated chipset officially named “Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy”. That’s quite a bite, isn’t it? please do not worry. Samsung has come up with a more concise way to remind people of the bespoke chipset powering its new flagships.
Modified Snapdragon logo includes Galaxy branding
The modified Snapdragon logo will be used in related promotional images. Speaking of which, a few promotional images have already leaked just days before the official reveal on February 1st. Get ready to see more of this stuff on many billboards and on the web starting next week.

The chipset will be exclusive to Samsung, and details about the deal with Qualcomm are murky for now, let alone at launch, and likely forever. After that, the Samsung MX could ship soon and start using the homegrown chipset.
