I had a lot of fun designing this Navajo art inspired guitar strap. This Native American art guitar strap design is the result of a collaboration between artist Matty Byloos (who also worked on the Byloos Victorian strap) and his Couch Assistant Designer Nani. Matty sent me a draft of Navajo-based art from his studio in Portland to get the ball rolling. We then brainstormed on strap colors until we found the perfect modern feel. Bold black print on off-white vinyl, rose stitching, brown lining, and white stitched buckskin his beige vegan his end his tab his vinyl. boom. Because they are the true founders of this great land, we have tried to represent the wonderful Native American culture in the most authentic and tasteful way possible.
