Judging by last week’s poll, the Redmi K60 series is off to a strong start. Judging by the first sales report, the same can be said. Of course, some models of the trio are more popular than others.
The Redmi K60 Pro is a fan favorite and rightly so. It’s gotten a lot of positive attention, and seems like it could pull people away from the more expensive flagships.
Not fully equipped to compete at the highest level, the lack of a telephoto lens and IP rating hinder it, but it’s the lowest price among the current Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphones. It is not yet known if it will be available worldwide in such a form. Xiaomi, Redmi or Poco?
People are concerned that the global model isn’t that cheap compared to its competitors. I have.

Many are tempted by the Pro, but the Redmi K60 was pretty popular in its own right. For a few dollars extra, the Pro comes with an upgraded GPU and a better sensor for the main camera. Get next-generation chipsets.
Again, the worldwide price for this model is unknown. This RMB 800 difference could be more or less than the converted $115/€110/£9,500. That will be the deciding factor for Redmi K60 and K60 Pro.

Finally, the Redmi K60E experienced the same thing as the regular K60. You can get a better phone for slightly more cash. In this case the difference is only RMB 300 ($45/€41/£3,600) and the RMB 2,200 price tag is low for a QHD+ display, but Switching to the Dimensity 8200 and a few other downgrades make it harder to sell.

We will keep you informed of any news of the Redmi K60 series (or phones based on the three models) entering markets outside of China. This week’s focus was on launching the Redmi Note 12 series in India, but once that’s done it may be time for the K60 to pack its suitcases and see the world.
