If you bring the hammock close to the ground, leopard geckos and other small terrestrial reptiles will happily ride it. These hammocks are machine washable, but do not put them in the dryer. they shrink. Allow to air dry. Dip the suction cup in a little water and press it against the glass/acrylic/plastic of the baby’s cage to help the hammock stick. Water helps keep the cup in place. Another tip is to keep the suction cup and the place where you put it absolutely clean. The suction cup we purchased is advertised to hold up to 1 lb.
