Samsung CEO TM Roh came up with the blog post ahead of February 1st’s Unpacked event, which will see the debut of the Galaxy S23 series. It speaks to the company’s future plans and promises new performance standards and environmental commitments.

In the post, TM Roh talks about new performance standards, not only when it comes to raw performance, but also when it comes to camera features. He says his new Galaxy S23 series will offer an even smarter and more sophisticated camera experience enabled by various hardware and software upgrades. The new and improved camera software and new sensor are just as expected at the time.
Roh also hinted that Samsung’s new chipset will power the latest Galaxy S series, enabling the fastest and smoothest Galaxy S experience ever. The company is expected to ditch its proprietary Exynos chipset in favor of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
The official statement sheds some light on how the Galaxy S23 Ultra combines the best of both worlds: the discontinued Note and its S Pen, and the mainstream appeal of the Galaxy S line. And this year his S23 will prove useful in even more device categories. Colors that pique our interest.
Finally, Samsung has doubled down on its environmental strategy announced in September, saying the smartphone maker will include more recycled materials without compromising quality and durability. After all, a longer smartphone lifecycle would certainly reduce e-waste. Another way to extend the life cycle of a smartphone is to provide software updates longer. Samsung seems to be doing pretty well by promising at least four years of major software updates for its flagship devices.
