Popular Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya was spotted using an unannounced Poco X series smartphone last week. We know it’s the latter as Poco’s Indian branch today announced the all-around cricketer as a brand ambassador.
In a press note sent to the media, Poco, as a brand, “is focused on challenging the status quo and representing all individuals seeking integrity and better alternatives to the mainstream.” and deemed Pandya a “perfect fit”. ” became a brand ambassador.

The Xiaomi sub-brand has also confirmed that Hardik Pandya, who is also the captain of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Gujarat Titans, will be the face of the upcoming Poco X series smartphone launch in India.

Ann image Making the rounds on Twitter suggests that the smartphone in question is the Poco X5 Pro. It will be launched in India on February 6th at 5:30pm local time. However, it is unclear if the X5 Pro will join the vanilla X5 which is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 695 SoC. The Poco X5 Pro is said to have a Snapdragon 778G chip.
