Chrome is rolling out an update that allows Android users to lock incognito sessions with a password code or biometrics when exiting the app. This feature has been available to iOS users for a while, but is now available to people using Chrome on Android.
Users can activate this feature by navigating to: Chrome Settings > Privacy & Security [Chrome を閉じるときにシークレット タブをロックする]turn on the toggle. The next time the user exits his Chrome, the incognito session will be automatically locked. To unlock incognito tabs, you can use your phone’s biometric unlock, such as fingerprint unlock or lock code.

This feature is useful for searching for topics that you don’t want to appear in your recommendations or history.
Google has just started rolling out this feature, so even if you’re on the latest version, the update may not be available. In that case, you can enter “chrome://flags/#incognito-reauthentication-for-android” and enable the flag to instantly unlock the feature.
As part of a broader update, Google also said it’s updating its Safety Check feature to send users more personalized recommendations about permissions they’ve shared with specific sites. For example, if a site sends too many notifications, Safety Check will ask you to change your notification access settings.
