Yes, it’s the butterfly keyboard guy
Reviving old technology can be a rewarding hobby, reviving or just trying to revive a piece of computer history that is meaningful to you. New products like the Raspberry Pi and Framework motherboards make this process even easier by allowing you to pack as much processing power as possible in a small space. Doing so greatly increases your chances of reconstructing ancient technology to your liking.
One such project is on Hackaday, reviving an old ThinkPad 701c. That particular model came with a full he keyboard, but the body of the laptop wasn’t big enough to accommodate the keyboard. When you open the lid, the sides of the keyboard open like butterflies to reveal a full-sized keyboard with a trackpad and red rubber nabbin in the middle. Karl Buchka replaced the internals with his Framework board, adding 3 his USB-A, 2 he USB-C, GigE NIC, headphone jack, Wifi and Bluetooth. The screen was also replaced and he was replaced with an iPad 7 with a much higher resolution than the original.
See it in all its glory here.
