Monster Hunter Rise was recently released for both PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S platforms, and following the release of Nintendo Switch and PC in 2021, the fan-favorite franchise will return to current generation consoles. was brought to While they’re not entirely up-to-date with the Switch and PC versions, for example missing the recently released Sunbreak expansion, players can still find enough to keep them occupied in Kamla’s new locales. Having played a good portion of both the offline and online campaigns, I would say it’s a great port for those who haven’t had a chance to play the game yet. Additional bonuses are automatically included with Game Pass for Xbox owners.
I’ve been playing games on the PS5 and there are a few things that stand out. It’s a very impressive experience. Also, loading times are virtually non-existent, and other than the initial save load, moving between town zones and launching quests is extremely fast, which is a big change from the Switch version of the game. is also very good from a visual point of view. The visuals for these ports haven’t been overhauled, but they’re quite an improvement over the original Switch version of Monster Hunter Rise.
Neither the PlayStation nor Xbox versions have any added content, but there’s still plenty to do here. It has a main questline that takes you through multiple monster quest tiers, which is somewhat short compared to other Monster Hunter titles. But Online Hub Quest expands on that, offering more story content beyond the game’s end credits, and a host of challenging battles for experienced hunters. There are also many quests available for free download, including free DLC. Overall, you can spend a lot of time exploring and hunting giant monsters. That’s pretty much what you want from a new Monster Hunter game.

I think the PS5 and Xbox versions of Monster Hunter Rise are arguably the better versions of the game, at least as far as consoles are concerned. game.
