Bjercke’s resignation was announced by Statkraft in a stock exchange announcement.
“After two inspiring and challenging years where we have sharpened the business strategy, divested non-core activities and significantly reduced our cost base, it is time for me to pursue opportunities outside Statkraft. It has been a privilege working for Europe’s largest renewable energy producer with so many competent and engaged people,” says Bjercke.
She will be temporarily replaced by Tone Aasetveit Skuterud, EVP of People, Organisation, and Sustainability. Skuterud joined Statkraft’s group management from Norwegian telecommunications company Telenor in April this year and previously worked at Statkraft for 12 years.
The recruitment process to find a new CFO will be initiated in the near future, Statkraft writes in the announcement.
