The CES 2023 Food Tech Review

Food tech is bigger than ever at CES 2023. The Spoon was in the middle of it all as it produced his CES Food Tech conference and helped curate a dedicated Food Tech exhibit on the show floor.

Before reading this report, a brief description of the structure of this review.

Category: Food Tech Reviews contain different categories. We have categorized each company into the major categories represented at CES 2023. These categories included everything from agtech to kitchen technology to food robotics.

A one-sentence description and the location of the company’s headquarters: We also included a short, one-sentence description of each company’s product and headquarters location.

Company Profile: For each company, we have included a description of the company and what it will be exhibiting at the show. These are taken from company announcements, The Spoon’s own articles, and possibly his CES show floor checkout.

mic take: For most companies, we’ve included a brief description of their product or technology to give you context for exhibiting at CES and how it fits into the broader food tech market.

video: We know that showing a product is often the best way to get up to speed quickly, so we’ve included a video about each company. Some of his videos were shot by The Spoon at CES, others by the company and other publications. For additional context, for each video I’ve included who made the video and, if possible, the general time frame when the video was made.
