Before pre-orders and release dates were officially announced, we had a chance to try out the latest three in the Samsung Galaxy Book3 series of ultrabooks in person. So far what I’ve seen has been pretty impressive.
The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 wasn’t the best result in my opinion, but for those who absolutely love 2-in-1 laptops, this ultrabook certainly has a lot to offer.
I previewed the black model, and it not only beats the Book3 Pro alone in its thinner form factor and lighter weight, but it also has a beautiful display and can easily bend into tablet mode. The 16-inch display works great in both portrait and landscape orientation, and the S-Pen makes working more comfortable.

Galaxy Book3 Pro 360: Design

| CPU | Up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 (28W) | |

| depository | Up to 1TB SSD | |
| screen | 14″ and 16″ WQXGA+ (2880 x 1800p) Dynamic AMOLED 2X (Touch) |
I was surprised at how light the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is, even though it has a large 16-inch display. It comes in two colors, black and light silver, and the one we previewed is black. Despite the very common color options, with the smoothness that indicates its high quality, the AMOLED screen is a work of art.
Perhaps the reason for the weight savings is that Samsung removed an extra layer of glass from the screen, which definitely makes it more responsive than most other touchscreens. The keyboard feels premium, and I really appreciate the size and responsiveness of the touchpad. The webcam is solid 1080p and I found it to be a great camera with sharp images, with options like HDR and auto-framing to improve image quality and focus.
The port selection is pretty solid with an HDMI port, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a Type-A USB port, an audio jack, and a mini SD card slot. However, it is a little disappointing that there is no Ethernet cable. However, most buyers are unlikely to connect their ultrabook to a landline Ethernet connection, even though having the option is always a plus.
Galaxy Book3 Pro 360: Performance
We weren’t able to personally try out the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 to test its performance, but the specs we know aren’t too shabby. It is installed. This makes this a great productivity machine, helping you get the job done exactly as you intended. Not to mention the addition of a touchscreen. Notably, it comes with an S Pen, which makes it easier to take notes and read.
Of course, the GPU wasn’t a priority, so we’re given standard Iris Xe graphics. But at least you can play low-end games, so you’re not completely shut out.
Galaxy Book3 Pro 360: Early Verdict
The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is a great 2-in-1 ultrabook, made for people who prefer touch screens above all else. The usual Book3 Pro sacrifices a bit of portability, so it’s a matter of taste.
It’s not a shrewd machine, but its 13th Gen Intel CPU is more than enough for anyone who wants a good working machine. The price is a bit high, but it’s what you’d expect from a Samsung Galaxy ultrabook. We don’t know yet what the actual performance, sound quality, ventilation, etc. will look like but hopefully these numbers when they drop in the next few weeks are the best his 2-in-1 laptop I hope it’s good enough to be on your list.
