A new beta build began rolling out to eligible Pixel phones, from the Pixel 4a through the Pixel 7 series, on February 1st. According to the release notes, this update includes a long list of bug fixes and improvements, addressing both developer and user-reported issues.
Some of the most notable fixes introduced in the new beta builds include:
- Fixed an issue where notifications in notification groups would sometimes appear with straight corners instead of rounded corners. (Issue #264287776, Issue #265529116)
- We fixed an issue where the notification shade message indicating an active VPN connection overlaps with the message about apps with active foreground services. (Issue #266075977)
- Fixed an issue where the overflow menu was not accessible when editing the quick settings tile. (Issue #263484657)
- Fixed an issue where devices with vibration enabled could vibrate for a long time after receiving a notification. (Issue #239676913)
Other fixes address issues related to various Pixel Launcher and system crashes, misleading Bluetooth status, failed notifications from messaging apps, and more.

Google also seems to be giving users a full-screen wallpaper preview so they can get a better idea of what the wallpaper will look like on the phone.
