Chinese e-mobility company Magicycle has launched what it calls an ebike SUV. A full squish fat tire electric mountain bike called Deer that doubles as his ebike for commuting and trekking.
Based out of its own production facility in Chongqing, China, Wade Wei’s Magicycle has been manufacturing e-bikes since 2010, but now has warehouses in California (and Ontario, Canada). The Deer is the company’s first full-suspension electric mountain bike.
Called the ebike SUV for its combination of performance and comfort, the versatile ride features a 750 W geared rear hub motor delivering 96 Nm (70.8 lb.ft) of torque at 1,100 watts max power and cadence sensing It features 7 levels of pedal assist by Up to 28 mph (45 km/h). A half-twist throttle is also included, along with a Shimano 7-speed gearset.
The removable 52 V/20 Ah downtube battery is made up of LG 21700 cells and gives you 60-80 miles (up to 128 km) on a single charge.

The eMTB features a hydraulic lockout suspension fork and rear shock to absorb bumps and smooth over bumps, roll on 26-inch rims wrapped in 4-inch Kenda fat tires, and front and rear hydraulic disc brakes for stopping power provided by 180mm rotor.
The Deer is available with a mid-step or step-thru 6061 aluminum frame to accommodate rider heights from 5.4 to 6.6 feet (1.65 – 2.03 m). Including the rider he is reported to have a weight capacity of 400 pounds (181 kg). Includes a large rear rack for hauling gear off-road.

A user-programmable color LCD display sits on top of the handlebar stem for at-a-glance ebike status. It also features a USB charging port for charging mobile devices while on the go. And finally, there are integrated LED headlights and brake taillights for extra nighttime antics and daytime traffic visibility.
This ebike SUV is currently priced at US$2,699, but buyers can now get a US$300 discount for a limited time. There are more videos below.
