A new update has started rolling out to Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL devices. This coincides with his February 2023 update rolling out to his other Pixel smartphones.New software patches are marked as version TP1A.221005.002.B2, But other than that, not much is known at this time. Support for both phones officially ended in October 2022 as his three-year software plan with Google ended.

The Privacy Sandbox is a space for developers to test new technologies, such as advertising-related APIs and ways to improve user privacy, as Google tries to keep cookies off the web.
This update for older Pixel devices also includes the December security patch. This includes Recorder Speaker Labels, Clear Call and an updated Safety Center. Rahman also spotted other additions such as his Bluetooth LE audio toggle and the option to display media on the lock screen. However, the Pixel 4 XL is not included in this developer build as it is not supported in the privacy sandbox.
Pixel 4 owners will receive the February 2023 update patch, but while it’s unlikely Google will release QPR1 to the Pixel 4, it suggests this latest development isn’t out of the question.
