love is a scam Anyway, Tinder is adding a new incognito mode for paying users. This only shows profiles if you’ve already swiped right on other potential paramours. was announced today with
The unfortunate truth of dating is that you can’t find someone unless you put yourself out there to be found. is not. Especially if you’re an introverted, insecure woman, or have a reasonable and healthy fear of the grim ordeal of being known.(opens in new tab).
Tinder users are using ChatGPT to check message matches
Tinder’s new incognito mode lets you hide from everyone, but whoever you choose can still see you, potentially reducing this terrible experience.(opens in new tab)Once you’ve liked someone’s profile and found it acceptable, you’ll start appearing on Tinder’s carousel of boring singles.
Of course, this puts the onus on you to actually like people instead of passively waiting for them to like you. It does not mean.

Incognito Mode is only available to users with a Tinder+, Gold, or Premium subscription, but other new safety features are also available to everyone.
One of these features is the ability to block without first matching a user’s profile. Previously, you could only block other Tinder users by pre-filling their contact details or reporting them first.
That means Tinder won’t keep proposing people you’re not interested in, like a nagging family friend who thinks you’ll get along with your nephew. It seems like a good addition to help cut down on the time you spend rejecting the same profile over and over and avoid the awkward and nasty feeling of watching your sister keep popping up.
Tinder has also added long press reporting, allowing you to long press on a chat message to initiate the reporting process directly. This makes it easy to flag harassment, hate speech, or other offensive text that violates your app’s Community Guidelines.(opens in new tab)ideally encourage more people to do so.
Finally, Tinder is updating “Do This Bother You?” and “Are you sure?” ability to expand content deemed inappropriate, including terms related to hate speech, sexual exploitation, and harassment.
Previously, these features were triggered when Tinder detected a potentially sexually explicit or violent message, prompting users to ask the question above and report it. Now it appears to be used to lock in Tinder users and allow them to respond to other violations.
