Thermacell has once again expanded its lineup of lightweight and sleek Mosquito Repellers, illuminating the E55 rechargeable battery-powered repeller to create the all-new EL55. From the backyard to the backcountry, the EL55 combines two useful outdoor gadgets in one portable package, creating a 20ft (6m) mosquito-free zone and adding ambient light to your table or campfire circle .
The EL55 is the newest member of Thermacell’s family of battery operated repellers since 2018. Officially he’s EL55 Rechargeable Mosquito He’s called a repeller and grow light, but the “EL55” works fine for us. It’s closely related to his E55, simply sandwiching dimmable ambient lights within a similar bulb-shaped body. Lights and repellers have their own controls, so they can be used independently.
Thermacell
Thermacell says it designed the EL55 in response to customer requests for soft lighting. Thermacell’s new repeller isn’t the first to feature a light, but other iterations use a combination of butane-powered repellent hardware and AA battery-powered lighting. The EL55 improves efficiency by equipping both the repeller and light with rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
When Thermacell introduced the E55 repellent two years ago, the effective mosquito repellent range was expanded and the EL55 inherits the same 20 foot repellent barrier. Full effect within 15 minutes after turning on the repeller, he protects the user for up to 9 hours on a single charge when used alone and up to 5.5 hours when used with the light on To do. Equipped with a liquid-repellent cartridge that lasts 12 or 36 hours, depending on the version chosen. The EL55 comes with one 12 hour cartridge.
