Many commuters are now looking for ways to avoid having to drive a gas-hungry car. Electric scoots and e-bikes have proven to be very popular, and British e-mobility company Zinc Sports has combined the two to create Venture, a folding, seated scooter. .
The Venture looks like an e-bike, but it’s not an e-bike because it doesn’t have pedals. The rider puts his foot on the peg and releases the throttle. So unlike many kickscooters elsewhere in his webshop on Zinc, it’s more like an e-scooter. You could even say it has balance bike DNA.
“For us, the Zinc Venture E-scooter has many of the qualities associated with a bike, but it was important that it was in the form of an affordable e-scooter. I think couriers and delivery drivers will also benefit.”
