Look at it! Four ears, a blissful expression, precious little teeth… I know very little about this creature, but I know it wants a big hug. again I know its name. According to the tweet of Director James Gunn(opens in new tab), the name of my new favorite Marvel creature is ‘Blurp’. Blurp only.
Not only is it a lot of fun to say over and over again, it’s also a name that evokes “grupsit.”(opens in new tab) Meme, a collective term for obscure Star Wars characters that die-hard fans are excited to see on screen, Blurp doesn’t seem to be an existing Marvel character. So this could be more of a “I need a cute critter to make a toy” situation than he is Glup Shitto.
Still, I love Blurp and can’t. hang on to see what he does. Here he is again:
