According to the official premise:
Our beloved band of misfits are starting a life in Knowwhere. But it won’t be long before their lives are turned upside down by echoes of Rocket’s eventful past. You have to assemble your team on a mission.
Elizabeth Debicki tries again roll. 2. Role as Ayesha, leader of the Sovereign, who creates Adam Warlock (Will Poulter), an artificial entity, to destroy the Guardians. first footage of roll. 3 was shown at San Diego Comic-Con last summer, but was never shown because Gunn said the visual effects weren’t finished yet. Marvel unveiled his official trailer at his CCXP in Brazil in December, giving us a quick glimpse of Adam Warlock and Hye Evolutionary. It also included shots of Quill mourning Gamora and a wide-eyed baby Rocket pulled out of his cage.
This latest trailer kicks off with tension between the team as Quill/Star-Lord tells the new Gamora how he formed the Guardians, met a certain girl, and fell in love. “That girl is dead,” he says. “But she came back. She gave back a full penis.” Nebula thinks he left out some key information, but otherwise “that’s the gist.” Later introduced to the High Evolutionary, he claimed to want to create a perfect society. “He didn’t want things to be perfect,” Rocket says. “He hated things for what they are.” It’s still not entirely clear what his function was other than trying to kill Guardians, but we’ve got more footage of Adam Warlock. (In the comics, he’s been genetically engineered to be the next stage in human evolution, fitting in with the movie’s Rocket/Advanced Evolution storyline.)
Rocket appears to be in love with an anthropomorphic otter named Lyra. Furthermore, at the end, there’s a nasty scene where Gamora tells Quinn that Nebula looks more like the version of Gamora he lost, and he suddenly notices how black her eyes are, a different light. Nebula is uninteresting: “They were replaced by my father in a form of torture.” We will all fly together into the beautiful skies forever.” And you can definitely expect another killer soundtrack. The new trailer includes Rainbow’s “Since You Been Gone.”
