Qualcomm unveiled its latest Snapdragon X75 modems for vehicles, PCs and industrial IoT, and Snapdragon X72 modems for mobile devices. Both are ready to support 5G Advanced, which the San Diego company calls “the next stage of 5G.”
The modem features 10 carrier aggregation and supports 10 Gbps downlinks for both Wi-Fi 7 and 5G.

Qualcomm’s 6th generation modem-to-antenna solution uses a new architecture and introduces the new QTM565 mmWave antenna module to reduce cost, board complexity, hardware footprint and energy consumption. Battery life is further extended by Qualcomm 5G PowerSave Gen 4 and Qualcomm RF Power Efficiency Suite.

Commercial devices with new Snapdragon modems are expected to hit the market by the end of 2023.
