How to lift an object from a photo on a Samsung Galaxy phone
These new tricks have launched on the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra (opens in new tab) Included with all Samsung phones running One UI 5.1 (opens in new tab) and up.If you have the best samsung phone (opens in new tab) In that software update (or later), start by following these steps:
- open samsung gallery app. When you open the app drawer, there is an app drawer named Gallery. flower icon.

- hold down About the subject you want to “lift” from the photo.
- select copy You can send it to your clipboard and paste it into another photo or your favorite app.
- select share Open the sharing system dialog and send directly to another app, such as a social media app for posting.
- select save as image Save the raised part of the photo as its own image with a black background.

that’s all! Simple as pie. When trying this trick, make sure you’re using Samsung’s own Gallery app that ships with your Samsung Galaxy phone. As of this writing, it does not work with other photo apps.
