Hungarian design collective Hello Wood recently completed a remarkable new tiny home called Jet House. Designed to look like a depiction of a whimsical cartoon plane, the unique residence includes real airplane seats and overhead lockers.
Reminiscent of Aero Tiny Australia, Jet House is located in the countryside of Zala County, Hungary. This project was conceived with the dream of a playhouse suitable for rent where a young girl who loves air travel can invite her friends to hang out.
“She arrived at the first meeting with meticulous ideas and plans on paper,” Hallowwood explained. It expresses an exciting perspective different from the developer’s perspective.The designer’s concept was to start from Lujzi’s idea and create a small house that is authentic and functional.It is not so much a building as a beautiful design. toys.
“Luigi’s jet curved from two directions and consisted of over 1,000 different structural components.To maintain a clean silhouette, no junctions or sewers could be placed outside the building. Hence the ‘Protective Coating’, an innovative waterproof layer that ensures the durability of your tiny home.

The small house is slightly raised off the ground, and the wings can be used as seating and picnic areas. Meanwhile, its interior is accessed by a few stairs and measures 19.25 square meters (approximately 205 square feet), most of which is a combined living room and bedroom. This includes overhead lockers and plane seats procured by the owner’s father, plus a few tables and a double bed. It also hides the air conditioning system. Porthole style windows let in natural light.
Thankfully, there is also a bathroom with a toilet and sink that looks less cramped than an actual airplane toilet. Elsewhere there is a small, simple kitchenette with a sink and a few cabinets. Various aircraft memorabilia and decorations are also placed throughout the residence.

Looking to the future, Jet House’s young owner plans to both use it himself and make it available for rent, though it’s not yet known how much it will cost.
