Which Garmin watches support the ECG app?

Best Answer: Garmin Venu 2 Plus is currently the only Garmin smartwatch that supports the ECG app. The feature was cleared by the FDA in January 2023 for the Venu 2 Plus, which was introduced last summer. This is the only smartwatch Garmin has ever offered and is approved to read his ECG from the wrist. The ECG reading and app are only approved in the US, but Garmin says it’s working to expand availability to other countries soon. More models will receive FDA approval in the future. may receive

Reading an ECG (electrocardiogram) with the Garmin Venu 2 Plus is easy. First, make sure your watch is running firmware 11.21 or newer and the Garmin Connect app is version 4.62 or newer (if available). Then select his ECG app from the watch, make sure the watch fits snugly over your wrist bone, then place your thumb and forefinger on opposite sides of the round screen.

Like other smartwatches that include an ECG, the Garmin Venu 2 Plus’ sensors record and measure the electrical signals that control your heartbeat. Stay still for the 30 seconds it takes to read. Results are displayed on your watch face and synced to the Garmin Connect app.
