Last week we saw the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra pounding PBK Review Drop and endurance test. Unsurprisingly, the S23 Ultra shattered on its first drop from waist height. The S23 Ultra’s curved display is believed to be the culprit for shattering so easily, and there’s a hint of hope that his S23+ with its flat glass display might do better. bottom.

It didn’t quite work out that way. The S23 Ultra uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back of the device, while the S23+ is equipped with the same type of glass. Despite sporting a flat display and the latest Gorilla Glass, the S23+ suffered the same fate of failing the drop test on the first round.
The cracks on the S23+’s flat glass panel were significantly smaller than those on the Galaxy S23 Ultra’s curved panel.
As is the case with most smartphone glass sandwiches these days, it can break if dropped from waist height. In case you missed it, reviews of the Samsung Galaxy S23+ (review) and S23 Ultra (review) have already been published.
