Following the action-packed trailer, the new Dungeons and Dragons: Thief’s Honor Clip uses spells straight from the tabletop roleplaying game.
A sneak peek published by Paramount Pictures includes a scene featuring the game’s Speak With Dead spell(opens in new tab), which allows Castor to perform necromancy to lift the corpse for questioning. Once reanimated, you can ask up to five questions to the corpse.As found by Edgin, the bard played by Chris Pine, it fucks very easily.
Despite simple instructions from the sorcerer Simon, played by Justice Smith, Edgin does not do well in interrogating the dead. Simon is flanked by his fellow adventurer Holga, a barbarian played by Michelle Rodriguez, and Doric, a druid played by Sophia Lillis.
Beyond this scene, we spy on Regé-Jean Page as the paladin Xenk and Hugh Grant as the villain Forge.
