Last week, the Oppo Find N2 Flip launched internationally with the largest outer screen we’ve seen so far in a flip-style foldable. We heard today that Samsung will respond with an even bigger screen later this year with the Galaxy Z Flip5.

The rendering above is by Leakster legend Evan Blass. @evleaks, and, as you can see, the upcoming Motorola Razr 2023 will display an absolutely gigantic outer screen. Almost the entire phone seems to be occupied by the display. There are also cutouts for two cameras and an LED flash. .
It took a very long time for slab-style phones to go virtually full screen, but flip-style foldable phones seem to have no intention of dragging things around. clearly beats the off-screen size competition. Your move, Oppo. Your move, Samsung.
