This is the first in a series of updates, so expect more releases in the coming months. Here is the latest information released today.
Switch between rides and Uber Eats more easily on your home screen
Uber Eats now takes up a little more space on your home screen. When you open the app, you’ll see options at the top that say “Ride” and “Delivery”. A few years ago, Uber replaced the original ride-hailing map homepage. Not surprisingly, during the pandemic, Uber Eats became much more popular than the ride-hailing service, so the landing page was redesigned with the current shared Ride/Eats interface. You can now switch between rides and deliveries with one tap.
