At the end of this week, Xiaomi will announce the international availability of the 13 and 13 Pro, which were first presented in China in December. Still, the family apparently doesn’t have an Ultra. The company’s CEO may have said he won’t be putting out a 13S Ultra this year, but he hasn’t said anything about the 13 Ultra, which has seen a steady increase in leaks over the past few weeks.
The Xiaomi 12S Ultra was announced in July 2022, so there’s still plenty of time before its successor arrives. Two images have surfaced today depicting the alleged case for the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Ultra, and they paint a picture of an absolutely gigantic circular camera island.
The alleged case of Xiaomi 13 Ultra
Of course, the 12S Ultra wasn’t unimaginably small either, so we’re already used to it. . The former appears below, the latter below the next paragraph.

The sensor placement seems similar, but not 100%. An oval cutout at the top of the island might work well enough, but it’s not clear from other leaked images what it is.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is rumored to launch in March or April, at least in China. Naturally given the Ultra’s pedigree there should be a big focus on photography, past leaks suggest the 13 Ultra will retain his 1 inch main sensor from its predecessor but gimbal stability modification is added. His four cameras on the back will all have autofocus and will also have dToF (direct time-of-flight) sensors. Please wait. We will let you know as soon as we have more details.
