A patch worn on the outside of your throat can detect and broadcast your speech, even when you speak quietly. It can help workers in noisy environments and people with speech impediments to communicate.
There are already some throat mics out there, but they tend to be bulky and can only detect vibrations from quiet speech, not softly spoken words.
