After Pekka Lundmark acquired Nokia’s telecom equipment division, the CEO had a three-step plan: reset, accelerate, and expand. Now that the first part of the plan is over, Nokia will focus on acceleration and change its logo for the first time in 60 years to signal a shift in strategy.

Nokia is ditching blue and replacing it with something more appropriate depending on the situation. That is, no specific color scheme is assigned. Lundmark said Nokia is no longer just a smartphone company, but a “business technology company.”
Associated with smartphones, it is now a business technology company.
In addition to growing its telecommunications equipment business, Nokia will also focus on selling equipment to other businesses. These include equipment for private 5G networks and automated factories, which could position the company as a competitor to Microsoft and Amazon in this area. Lundmark said Nokia is also considering development and growth in other areas.
