Last of Us is increasing the stakes each week, and in Episode 8, Ellie faces a truly chilling human threat. (And a nostalgic face!)
In HBO’s preview of the next installment, Ellie (Bella Ramsey) bravely cares for Joel, who was injured in the dead of winter. As she hunts, she encounters a menacing group of survivors led by the terrifyingly creepy David.
“Other people want to kill you,” he says in the trailer. “I just want to protect you.”
And in an absolute treat for fans of Last of Us In the game, the member of David’s crew who first confronts Ellie in the trailer is a man called James, played by Troy Baker, originally voiced by Joel Miller.
