It’s been almost six months since Android fans got their hands on Google’s latest and greatest Android smartphone, but the wait for a more budget-friendly model has continued for some time. Appeared in the database, it could be over soon.

However, some hints point to the mystery device being the successor to the Pixel 6a. Google has traditionally released his mid-tier Pixel A series phones in the summer. For example, the Pixel 6a was released last July after debuting in May at Google’s I/O event.
If the company’s previous release schedule is any indication, it’s a safe bet that the new listing mentions the Pixel 7a. The budget phone to be will be released in the summer.
In any case, the phone’s appearance at the FCC also suggests it’s one step closer to launch. This, along with approvals from other government regulators around the world, is required before the device is released to the market. There isn’t much to see in the list, except that one of the models includes mmWave support. This may be assigned to Verizon customers. Considering his Verizon variant of the Pixel 6a also supported his mmWave 5G, this makes perfect sense.
