The OnePlus 11R is the latest in the company’s streamlined flagship phones for the Indian market. These devices basically try to capture the essence of flagship devices, but make some sacrifices to achieve a lower price point.
The OnePlus 11R may look like the more expensive OnePlus 11, but under the hood, it’s almost identical to the newly launched Realme GT3. It’s also the same as the OnePlus Ace 2, which is actually the exact same phone for China.

So what do you get and more importantly what do you lose compared to the more expensive OnePlus 11? A lot, but not enough to really notice. The display is still curved, but with slightly lower resolution and about 35% fewer pixels. The chipset is last year’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 instead of this year’s. The main camera is the same, but the ultra-wide angle is different, and the telephoto has been replaced by a 2MP macro.
But the problem remains. How much of it will you actually notice? Well, that’s exactly what we’re going to find out.
Unpacking
The OnePlus 11R comes in a standard red OnePlus package that includes the phone, a 100W SUPERVOOC charger with a USB-C connector, and a USB-A to USB-C 2.0 cable that supports proprietary fast charging. The screen protector is pre-applied.
The box also includes a black silicone case with a fairly stiff cover for the USB port, so it’s a real pain to plug the cable in every time.
