If you’re one of the lucky ones enjoying PlayStation VR2 right now, you’ve undoubtedly experienced a lot of great moments with the 40 games already released on the system. However, some users report that they especially like the good Sense controllers randomly stopping working.
Specifically, the X and R2 buttons on the PSVR 2 on the right (opens in new tab) The controller will no longer respond to commands while in-game, but these buttons will still work in the PS5 system menus. These include everything from the mundane “Have you tried turning it off and then on again” to more complex troubleshooting like deleting controller pairings and clearing cache.
At this time, Sony has not officially commented on the issue, but several people have had to RMA new controllers for replacements. One of the suggested methods seems to have solved the problem.
