The next leap into audio couldn’t get away from previous TWS releases. Renderings of the London-based startup’s upcoming speaker have leaked. Tweet Kuba Wojciechowski (via 91Mobiles).
A single rendering appears to show the front of this proposed device, with a slight glimpse of the sides. The speaker can boot in box form, but the power, volume, and other function buttons are on the side.
A very interesting design choice is the lone red button on the left side of the device. This is nothing new and is exactly the same red button on Nothing’s ear (1) and ear (stick). The render also shows what I believe to be the handle of the speaker.

As for the front, it is assumed that the two white cutouts on the body could be subwoofers for deeper sounds/bass. Then there are two black speaker cutouts above the proposed subwoofer. The purpose of the Fine Tuning Speaker is to produce high pitched vocals and instrumentals. The base of the proposed speaker appears to have two rubber pads. This will most likely help keep the device in place when set somewhere for listening.
It’s not the only “Nothing” audio device recently leaked. In late January, a rendering of Nothing Ear (2) was leaked, leaking some interesting information about possible ANC advances. Unfortunately, the details of the alleged Nothing speaker are still unknown, and the release date is unknown.
But perhaps Carl Pei is gearing up for the Nothing startup for some interesting times ahead. At MWC 2023, it was revealed that the upcoming Nothing Phone (2) will be powered by the flagship his Qualcomm Series 8 chip and US launch. As speculation suggests, perhaps this rumored Nothing speaker is also what lovers of the unique brand can expect.
