Tecno has announced the Spark 10 Pro. This is the sequel to his Spark 9 Pro from last year, with a better screen. The new model features a larger 6.8-inch IPS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate compared to the older model’s 6.6-inch 60Hz (both have a resolution of 1,080 x 2,460 pixels, 20.5:9). Also for the first time on Spark, the 10 Pro has a glass back. This is usually reserved for premium units like the Phantom.
The company calls it “durable starry glass,” without specifying the brand name. The phone is available in Starry Black and Pearl White.

Beyond the display, the new Tecno Spark 10 Pro brings a slightly upgraded chipset Helio G88 (from the G85, which failed to handle FHD+ @ 90Hz displays). The Tecno came with 8GB of RAM (plus up to 8GB of virtual RAM) and 256GB of internal storage. The display and chipset are reminiscent of the Camon 18, but its base configuration was only half of his 4/128GB memory capacity. By the way, the Spark has a dedicated microSD slot.

The Spark also has an excellent front-facing camera, a 32MP unit with built-in flash (same as the old Spark 9 Pro, but better than Camon’s 16MP unit). The rear camera has his 50MP main unit with super night mode and 3D LUTs to quickly adjust the style of the photo, and an unspecified helper (perhaps a depth sensor).

Like its siblings, the 10 Pro has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 18W via the USB-C port with the included cable and adapter.

This is a dual SIM 4G phone with NFC and FM radio thanks to the 3.5 mm headphone jack on the bottom. A fingerprint reader is built into the power button on the side.

The Tecno Spark 10 Pro will be available later this month, but the price is still unknown. The phone launches with Android 13 and his HiOS 12.6 right out of the box.
