A few days after the teaser, nothing has been confirmed for the expected product launch date.
A London-based start-up murmured Nothing Ear (2) has been confirmed to launch on March 22nd at 10am ET. A photo accompanying the announcement shows a beetle pushing what appears to be the new Ear (2) inside the charging case. Guessing what this is, the case appears to continue the trend of ear (1) and part of ear (stick) transparency.
In addition to the confirmation tweet, Nothing’s website has been updated to feature Ear (2)’s next event. The event’s tagline is “better sound, clearer, better”.

Not much is known about the ears (2), but rumors about the new device hinted at customizable ANC. Previous iterations also had ANC (Active Noise Cancellation), but it would be a step forward if consumers could play around with the settings to find the sound that works best for them. It also highlights that you’ll find Ears (2) that include and might be better matched with some of the best wireless earbuds.
These late-January assumptions also addressed some alleged renderings of Nothing Ear (2). As for Ear (2), there wasn’t much difference compared to its predecessor. It seems that some adjustments have been made to the function, such as the placement of the noise-cancelling microphone and some of the interior.
Ear (2) is only two weeks away from launch, so we won’t have to wait long to see this next “evolution” packed with all the Nothings.
