For those unfamiliar with California’s scenic highways, “PCH” stands for Pacific Coast Highway, which runs along the coastline from Orange County to Mendocino County. So Daisy sings “Pacific Coast Highway Highway”! Worse yet, this was avoided. “Pacific Coast Highway” has the same number of syllables as “PCH Highway”.
Note that the book’s lyrics do not contain any mention of PCH. This is an understandable addition, but is simply wrong.

The Highway reference in “Regret Me” adds depth to Daisy’s feelings for Billie and has the potential to serve as a cheeky nod to a great scene, but unfortunately falls flat.
This lyric might have been forgiven if it was written by Billy from Pittsburgh, but Daisy is from California and the ultimate Los Angeles it girl. This line contradicts Daisy’s character.cool girl like her I never have make such fakes. The only possible explanation I can think of is that it was a momentary error being dragged up, but that’s shorting Daisy.
As a joke, let’s say Billy wrote it — but that wouldn’t make sense because Daisy isn’t afraid to call Billy over and make the lyrics better. is! Well, that and the off-the-charts sexual tension.
It’s a disservice not only to Daisy’s character, but to The Six as a whole. they are the most popular band in the world that is The lyrical brilliance of their hits?

Some fans don’t seem to care, as “Regret Me” is the most popular song on the Spotify show, but once you hear those PCH lyrics, it’s impossible to listen to.
