Depending on where you live, Google Wallet may allow you to tap to pay without unlocking your phone. The same goes for transit passes. And if they manage to get your girlfriend’s PIN, all bets are void.
To use Google Wallet safely, you must (A) ensure that your cards are adequately protected, even if it is inconvenient, (B) know how to remotely lock Google Pay or Google Wallet, and (C) must be deleted; Use a card if you think someone with access to your phone (such as a child or teenager) is using them. Protect your Google Wallet card

Additionally, certain methods such as Face Unlock are not considered secure enough by Google Pay, so without first adding fingerprint unlock for phones such as the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, making NFC payments I can’t. If you try, the payment will be declined by default.
1. Open setting again.
2. Open safety (again Security and privacy in one UI) and screen lock (again lock screen).
3. Add your fingerprint.
Delete your Google Wallet or Google Pay card
Google Wallet is device-specific, but Google Pay works on any device linked to your Google Account. This means you can add your saved Google Pay cards to Wallet. At this point, removing your card from one service does not necessarily mean it will be removed from other services. For your safety, we recommend checking both apps when you lock your card on your Android phone or other device.
with Google Pay
1. Open Google Payments (opens in new tab) site and choice payment method From the top navigation bar.
2. Click delete below the card you want to remove delete confirm one more time.
with Google Wallet
1. Tap the card icon.
2. Tap the “…” icon.
3a. Select Tap to turn off paymentsThis will make the card unusable in Wallet without first setting up the card again, but it will not permanently remove the card from your Google Account.
3b. For more extreme options, Remove payment method To remove the card from both Google Wallets and Completely secure your Google account.
How to lock Google Wallet on a lost or stolen phone
If you lose your Android phone, no problem, as long as you set up biometrics properly the first time. However, if he didn’t prepare beforehand and someone could potentially bypass security or use Google Wallet while the phone is locked, he has only one option. That is to remotely disable or erase the phone.
