Real-world images of the Google Pixel 7a have surfaced on various online platforms, giving us a glimpse of the upcoming mid-range model.

As you can see in the gallery below, the back of the phone has the same camera strip, which houses two cameras and a flash. On the front, it has a punch-hole selfie snapper. The bottom of the device appears to have a USB-C port and dual speakers.

The leaker points out that the fingerprint sensor is placed under the screen, similar to the Google Pixel 6a. Also, he seems to be missing a headphone jack on the upcoming Pixel 7a. This isn’t surprising given that last year’s mid-range model ditched that feature and the Pixel A series was the first to ship without it.
In addition to the actual images, the leak spilled the beans on the phone’s potential specs. Sources say the Pixel 7a will include a FullHD+ 90Hz OLED screen, while the Pixel 6a will only come with a 60Hz screen. Is not …
A Twitter user also shared some live images of the phone, confirming SlashLeaks’ claim, adding that the screen size will be 6.1 inches.

It can also feature the Google Tensor G2 chipset like the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro in combination with the Qualcomm Wi-Fi Bluetooth chip known as WCN6740. The rear camera on the back will reportedly consist of a 64MP Sony IMX787 sensor and an IMX712 ultra-wide shooter.
Unlike the Pixel 6a, which doesn’t have wireless charging capability, the phone may support 5W wireless charging. None of these rumored specs have been finalized, but it looks like Google’s next affordable phone is getting a reasonable upgrade.
What the Pixel 6a lacks in flash, it more than makes up for with one of the best values on the market. Even without the latest and greatest specs, Google’s “low-end” devices continue to impress.
