Huawei’s most premium smartwatches, the Watch 3, 3 Pro, GT 3, GT 3 Pro and GT Runner, are now receiving the latest HarmonyOS 3 update worldwide. The new OS brings some new features and internal optimizations. Perhaps more fluid operation and even longer battery life.
Perhaps the most notable change is the new notification handling. Improved notification display and faster response in certain apps.
Previously limited to China, Huawei is now making its respiratory health app available globally. It takes into account various health indicators such as body temperature and respiratory rate to indicate if there is a problem.
A custom watch face for your everyday look is now available along with a kaleidoscope dial style with a custom image on the watch face. The updated Flashlight app lets you choose different colors to illuminate your screen instead of the standard white.
The update has been seeded for about a week and more and more units are getting notified. It shouldn’t take long to reach all units worldwide.
