The 2023 Oscars came and went in pretty much the usual way: some won, some missed. The host made a relatively safe joke. No one was slapped. Certainly back to normal.
Night story: All at once, anywhere Be a runaway winner. It won 7 out of 11 nominations, including Best Picture. But the night was more than just awards, it was full of small moments. We’ve picked some of the best and worst to outline the biggest nights of cinema.

(Fake) Donkey Jenny Appears
The internet went wild when Jenny the star-winning donkey came out. Inishelin’s Banshee, was trotted by host Jimmy Kimmel during the 2023 Oscars.A source told Vulture(opens in new tab) The one who appeared in the movie was not Jenny, but “just a donkey”.

love for All at once, anywhere
It was really cool to see EEAAO pay off and see the cast and crew so excited. Kristy Puchko of Mashable, in her review of the film, called the film a “comedy classic of the overwhelming era”.
Pucciko wrote:
“In all this All at once, anywhere It’s not just a funny action comedy. It’s a sensational film of visual splendor and unapologetic stupidity. Not only will he be one of the year’s best movies, but he’s also a classic comedy that’s sure to be treasured for decades to come. ”
It was great to see a movie that was not just comedy and silly, but a heartfelt look at the pain in the world that was so successful.

Harrison Ford presents best photos for Ke Hoi Quan movie
Legendary actor Ford announced that the EEAAO won the top prize of the night. Ke Huy Quan started out as a child actor, played short rounds, so it matters Indiana Jones and the Temple of Destiny, with Ford of course. Quan’s career had stalled before a clear win at EEAAO. Not only did the film win Best Picture, Quan also won Best Supporting Actor. It was the very night, the very moment, when he and Ford hugged each other on stage. Look at the joy on display.
The worst 2023 Oscar moments
Alright, after all that fun, let’s get down to the juicy and bad stuff: the worst moments.
Leave Malala alone…
It was nothing special for host Jimmy Kimmel. One moment in particular made people upset. He posed a silly question to Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Prize-winning peace advocate. It was basically using her serious, important work to make fun of how ridiculous the movie was.They had someone in a bear costume — to represent the movie’s cocaine bear cocaine bear — Execute during the segment. Kimmel even asked her about the whole Spitgate, Harry Styles and Chris Pine affair, which Yousafzai handled well, but it was all so awkward and a bad segment.
Angela Bassett lost and we all felt her pain
It would be hard to manage the disappointment if she didn’t win an Oscar.Actress Angela Bassett missed out on Best Supporting Actress and people realized she was definitely upset. I totally respect not trying to play disappointed — no one hope lose.

The Oscars did a typical segment honoring Hollywood folks who passed last year. sorrow triangle, Actress Charubi Dean was not included. The segment also did not include actors such as Tom Sizemore and Paul Sorvino. It didn’t catch the eye of the fans.
